Seven Interesting Facts about Adam Peterson

1. I am a life-long educator and work as a consultant, but Kindergarten will always have a special place in my heart! There is something magical about the excitement, surprise, and wonder of children entering a Kindergarten classroom for the first time that never gets old.

2. We are an educational family! My wife is a 2nd-grade teacher, and before I left the classroom we actually taught in the same hallway. Our two kids attend that same school as well. Trisha is a phenomenal teacher doing big things in 2nd grade. Give her a follow @mrs_peterson2.

3. I am a diehard pizza fan. Doesn't matter where it's from, I just love pizza and I am on the pineapple DOES belong on the pizza side of the argument.  

4. I LOVE live music. I lost track of the number of times I've seen Blink 182 live. It's a love that I share with each member of my family in a different way too. My son's first concert was Blink 182, my, wife, Trisha and I try to attend every Lucky Boys Confusion show there is, and I recently took my daughter to her first show to see Dashboard Confessional!

5. Besides writing Teach, Play, Learn! with DBC, I have self-published five children's books that you can find at my website. 6. I was lucky enough to do a TEDxTalk this past fall on the subject of my Yellow Day movement. You can watch the entire thing HERE.

7. Last but not least, following in our wonderful Captain's footsteps, I have to talk about my favorite snack food. I'm in love with Rebel Ice Cream. Each pint only has 5-7 carbs in it, and they have amazing flavors!
